#GivingTuesday: Keeping Our Community Warm & Safe

Donate Cold-Weather Gear
With the cold weather setting in, many of our participants are facing harsh outdoor conditions without adequate protection from the cold. Cold-weather clothing and gear can make the difference between comfort and crisis - and sometimes between life and death. If you’re looking for a tangible way to help this season, consider a monetary donation that we can use for cold-weather supplies or donate new/clean clothing directly to one of our three offices, in Medford, Grants Pass & Klamath Falls.
High-need cold-weather items include:
-
Winter jackets, coats, hoodies
-
Beanies, scarves, and gloves
-
Thermal socks and base layers
-
Hand and foot warmers
-
Sleeping bags and blankets
-
Tarps, tents, and rain ponchos

Help Us Buy a Work-Vehicle
In addition to donating cold-weather items, you can support our work by giving directly to Max’s Mission. We are currently searching for a reliable, used, work-vehicle to help us reach more people where they are - at camps, along the Greenway, in rural areas, and other hard-to-reach places. A dedicated outreach vehicle will allow us to transport cold-weather gear, naloxone, safer-use supplies, hygiene items, food, and water more consistently throughout Southern Oregon. This season, donations made through our donation page will go toward purchasing and outfitting an outreach vehicle so we can keep more of our participants warm, seen and ultimately, supported.
