2025 Overdose Awareness Day

Saturday, September 27th, 2025

1:00PM - 4:00PM
Hawthorne Park, Medford, OR

This will be the 9th year that Max's Mission and our many community partners will gather to remember those we have lost to overdose and fentanyl poisoning, distribute free naloxone and train on its use and provide an opportunity to connect to the many services available in Southern Oregon. Together, we honor lives lost, support those still struggling and raise awareness around substance use and recovery. This year's event will feature:​​

  • FREE Naloxone Kits

  • 25+ Community Booths, Speakers & Entertainment

  • Face Painting Booth

  • Memorial Area with Remembrance Video

  • Food Trucks! Prickly Pear & Sticky Fingers Ice Cream

  • Visit booths to collect tickets for great prizes!​

We’re giving away amazing prizes - bicycles, meals for two, escape room gift certificates, and more! To enter, just visit every booth, fill up your grid card, and return it for your giveaway ticket. Explore, connect, and you could walk away a winner!

  • Check in at the Welcome Table  - Pick up your grid card with all of the day’s tabling organizations listed.

  • Visit every booth - Collect a signature from each organization as you explore the event.

  • Return your completed card - Once your grid is full, bring it back to the Welcome Table.

  • Receive your giveaway ticket - A completed card earns you one entry into the prize drawing later in the day.
